Thank you, and Welcome Back!
There will be no Adoration for a while but we hope for a limited return shortly
I will offer Mass at the USUAL TIMES in both Churches now, but only while the Church is closed.

On Sunday, May 31st I will lead Evening Prayer and offer the Rosary at the Mass Rock (Carraig an Aifreann LIVE on Facebook at 7.30 pm.
It is NOT ADVISABLE to attend any outdoor events, so please do not come to the Mass Rock.
The LIVE on Facebook Masses (and Mass Rock Rosary) are listed in the Calendar (in the newsletter section of the website)

I acknowledge with heartfelt thanks again all who left in Weekly Envelopes or Dues Offerings.
Step by step we shall return.

The Parish Office is open as usual (although not on Thursday evenings). The Newsletter continues to be published and will be available in both Churches (and can also be seen on the parish Website, www.wghparish.ie). Mass intentions can continue to be booked and Mass cards available from the Office by arrangement.

Trocaire Lenten donation
Every year Trócaire asks for your help during Lent to fund lifesaving programmes around the world. As you know it has not been possible this year to return Trócaire boxes in the usual ways. I am appealing to you now to return your Trócaire Lenten donation. Simply count or estimate what is in your box and donate in one of the following ways:
1. Donate online at www.trocaire.org 2. Phone1850 408 408 (ROI) or 0800 912 1200 (NI) 3. Post to Trócaire, Maynooth, Co. Kildare (ROI) or Trócaire, 50 King Street, Belfast (NI) 4. If it is possible and safe for people to return donations to your parish, please include the relevant details here.
As we mark the feast of Pentecost at this time of the year; we celebrate the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. We thank you God for the generosity of the Irish people to Trócaire.
We also give thanks for front line workers all over the world, including those in countries where Trócaire works, who are working against the odds to control the corona virus. We pray for all those who have been impacted by COVID-19 in Ireland and around the world.

“We all have a duty to do good”
Pope Francis

I will be offering Mass live usually at 7.00pm Saturdays and 10.00am Sundays  on the parish Facebook page (Link as given above). There may be other Masses live: as outlined in each Newsletter. Usually the Tuesday Mass is live also.
No christenings (even with a small group) can take place at this time.
It is not regarded wise to administer Sacrament of the Sick (anointing) at the home at the moment. It is possible in a hospital setting.
Please pray the Rosary during the month of May especially.

Each time I offer Mass I will pray for spiritual, mental and physical health of all our parishioners. I am aware that we honour Our Lady particularly in May and we gather at the Mass Rock usually on the last Sunday evening of that month.
In June, we should have our Procession to honour the Body of Christ through Glenville village.
Also in June we should be in St. John’s Well Doonpeter.

In July we should be in our Cemeteries, blessing the burial places of our dead brothers and sisters.

Any or all of these events may not take place – but we will do our best to fulfil them in some way – if not then, at a later time.
