TOWARDS EASTER

Both our Churches shall remain closed until April 12th.  Easter Sunday ; since it is impossible to ensure clinical cleansing in the buildings

I will no longer be able to visit Glenville until at least that day.

Mass will be offered from my house; I will go live Saturdays at 7.00 pm. and Sundays at 10.00 am.; I will do Stations of the Cross from my house at 12noon on Friday, April 10th, Good Friday. Live on Facebook either under my name Donal Cotter or the name of the parish. Please be my friend if you wish to receive live. https://www.facebook.com/donal.cotter.1

The Mass intention is honoured each day.

Please mark the hours of the Angelus 12 noon and 6.00 pm.   EACH DAY as a moment in prayer to STOP: remember, reflect, seek forgiveness of sin, and lift up our hearts....for any of the needs we have.

Holy Communion will be available for those house-bound beside the tabernacle of each church on Easter Sunday if we are still in lockdown; further details later.

Please stay at home; stay safe; stay healthy; stay responsible.......but     "be of full heart, for I have overcome the world".

Friday, April 10 is Good Friday and I am hoping to mark it in two ways

I will do a Scriptural Way of the Cross at 12 noon live on Facebook

I will bring the Crucifix to the gates of the church in Watergrasshill at 3.00pm. I ask as many as possible to stand at their doors at that time while the bells ring to mark the hour Jesus died

Daily Mass is on EWTN in television and for those who have wifi, there are Masses online. RTE News Now broadcast Mass live at 10.30am every morning. RTÉ News Now can be accessed on Saorview (channel 21), Sky (521), Virgin Media (200), Eir (517) as well as via the RTÉ Player, the RTÉ News Now app and via RTÉ.ie/news.
